OH man, what am I, a moron magnet. Yup it’s another Bogside “Matching wits with Twits at the supermarket” saga.

As per my usual routine I bounced into the supermarket bright, cheery and sans mask this morning. As I was stalking the wild tofu in the organic aisle a Millennial babe clad in a smiley-face mask was closely examining some imported overnight from Thailand fiddlehead ferns. She looked at my bare face and quietly stated: “You’re a senior citizen and vulnerable to the Covid-19. would it be wise to wear a protective mask”? I knew she was just trying in her own liberal coexist way to be thoughtful so I refrained from smacking her in her pearly white chicklet choppers and in my best dour voice said to her: “Excuse me ma’am, by appearing so concerned for an old senior’s welfare so I presume you’re “pro-life”. That evoked a combination surprised/annoyed expression and she firmly stated: “No I believe in a woman’s right to choose”. I chuckled: “Right to choose. Right back at ya, lady”. Promptly she executed one of the most precise about-face’s in her pink Nike Women’s Air Max 270’s I’ve ever seen. As I watch longingly at her tight bubble butt bounce away I thought to myself: Shit, once again I got some of the best asshole repellent stored up in my dementia addled brain.

I’m not buying into this myth that China is some kind of economic powerhouse.
In the 90, they couldn’t manufacture shit because Mao had killed off the best
and brightest. By luring foreign companies to set up manufacturing plants,
these companies insisted on maintaining quality build standards because
they had a brand to protect. Before this move, anything made in China
was low-quality junk like the crap the Soviet Union made in state-run
    plants.

Buy a Mikata cordless tool from a Makita owned plant in China, and you’
get a high-quality tool. It is a given that the Chicoms are stealing every
patent they can get their hands on. So compare that Makita to a Makita
knockoff made in a Chinese government factory and what you get is a
piece of shit like the stuff selling at Harbor Freight.

In the past few months, the Chi-coms have nationalized some foreign-owned
plants and the results were disastrous. Medical PPE, medical devices, and
other related items are not passing QC checks on the buyer’s end. Kung
Flu test kits were contaminated with bacteria, and even ventilators are
    failing at high rates.

The Chi-coms are in the same place Japan was decades ago. They cannot
innovate so they duplicate, but Japan could manufacture quality products.
If the Chinks cannot sell knockoff N95 masks without a 60 percent failure
rate, what are they going to do when the foreign companies bail?
