WHAT A BUNCH OF HYPOCRITES

Republicans who signed on to repeal Obama-Care when they knew it would be vetoed and leave them free and clear are now refusing to sign on to it.

Cvnts!

Another Senate Republican has spoken out against Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s plan to repeal ObamaCare without a replacement, dampening GOP efforts to move forward.

Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, told reporters in a conference call Tuesday that the strategy was not “appropriate,” but neglected to say whether he would vote against taking up the House health care bill, the Hill reported.

“I have said consistently that I support repeal and replace, and I’m not giving up on doing both of those things,” Portman said. “I don’t think it’s appropriate just to repeal, we’ve also got to put a replacement in place.”

Portman is the fourth Republican to push back on the plan by McConnell, R-Ky. Previously, West Virginia Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, Alaska Sen. Lisa Murkowski and Maine Sen. Susan Collins signaled they also oppose legislation that would repeal ObamaCare without offering a replacement.

“As I stated earlier this year, I cannot vote to proceed to repeal the ACA [Affordable Care Act] without reform that allows people the choice they want, the affordability they need and the quality of care they deserve,” Murkowski said.

McConnell said Tuesday that the Senate will hold a procedural vote to repeal ObamaCare “early next week,” but with four Republicans already announcing their opposition, debate on a bill doesn’t seem likely.

Republicans have 52 seats in the Senate. McConnell can afford to lose only two Republican votes, with Vice President Mike Pence as a tiebreaker, if all Democrats vote against the effort.

Republicans in Congress are stupid. Compromising with Democrats is what got their asses thrown out back in 2006 and 2008. Now, they’re on the same path again. They PROMISED the American People they would repeal Obamacare and now they’ve reneged on their promise. Stupid idiots.

Well, we’re in for a lot of strife. Our “elected” representatives have broken their solemn promises, again. Their actual owners have tugged on their leashes, and so they just can’t do what they promised over and over to do once they got elected, as it would upset their Banking owners, their Big Pharm owners, their Chamber of Commerce owners, Trial Lawyer owners, and all the others in that Big Club that we ain’t a part of (h/t George Carlin.)

I’m in CA. I have a “choice” of Democrat, another Democrat, or a Democrat-Lite. There’s no point in contacting either Senator, they aren’t on my side and they do NOT represent me; just the opposite. My Rep is Darryl Issa. He makes reassuring noises but does nothing with any substance. I won’t be voting for him again, or supporting him. This is HIS doing, not mine.

Looks like I’ll be voting for the Constitution Party candidate. It won’t do any good, but maybe eventually the damn liars, cheats and stuffed shirts in the GOPe will get the message!

Until then, I’m keeping my weapons clean, loaded, and ready to hand. Looks to me like we’ve run out of boxes; the only one left holds ammo.
