That one’s easy: because the people there are uneducated morons who refuse to join the 21st century.

Case in point? Ebola has broken out in several African countries but the people refuse to take precautions because they believe it is witchcraft.

I say, “fuck ’em!” Shut the borders and let their “witchcraft” fix the problem.

And to think Obongo seems so proud to be “African.” Explains a lot, really.

A British doctor fighting the devastating Ebola outbreak in west Africa has told how belief in witchcraft is hampering the fight to stop the spread of the deadly disease.

Benjamin Black, 32, a volunteer with the charity Médecins Sans Frontières in Sierra Leone, said that some of those in infected areas were not seeking medical treatment as they thought the disease was the work of sorcerers. Belief in witchcraft and traditional medicine is still prevalent in parts of west Africa, particularly the remote rural areas of Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia where the outbreak has been concentrated.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Dr Black, who completed a four-day stint earlier this week at an Ebola treatment clinic in Kailahun, near Sierra Leone’s northern border with Guinea, said: “There is a section of population here who simply don’t believe Ebola is real, they think it is witchcraft and so they don’t come to the treatment centres.

“Sometimes, even those who turn up at clinics with symptoms of the disease will be resistant to the idea that they have it. They will say ‘yes, people in my family have died already, but this is witchcraft rather than Ebola’.”

Obama may be proud of his Kenyan heritage but lately, the Kenyans aren’t proud of him or are claiming him.

I am not too worried about Ebola. It’s usual pattern is that it kills dozens to a hundred
or so Africans and then goes dormant for a year. If it ever breaks out outside of
Africa though, it could be on the scale of the Flu outbreak in 1918.

The thing that scares me most are the diseases that we have long since eradicated
like TB, Polio, Leprosy, Small Pox, the Bubonic and Pneumonic Plagues, etc…

These fuckers are truly scary! They will kill, cripple and maim people and we may
never be able to control them again, thanks to the fact that drug resistant strains
are being introduced from third world shit-holes like Mexico and South America.

If we get hit with these bad boys, they will kill tens of millions. Forget antibiotics,
they will be like aphrodisiacs to these bugs. By the time someone discovers a
non-antibiotic treatment, America could look like this:
